Here is French superstar from the 20s, winger Adolphe Jaureguy (Stade Toulousain, Stade Français) running with Equipe de France colours on the cover of satirical newspaper Le Rire, December 1923
Under this drawing by Leandre, caption reads (in French) "Maison Jaureguy & Cie - transport de ballon à domicile par les voies les plus rapides" (something like "Jaureguy & Co, the fastest home delivery of balls"...)
Ironically, I find it difficult to have good quality picture of Jaureguy... maybe he was running too fast for the cameras... Here his this gentleman running for a French victory versus Ireland 14-8 in April 1923 (cover of French Magazine "Miroir des Sports" )
