Taken from French weekly magazine L'Illustration, April 11th 1925.
A nice (and large) painting about this V nations championship game at the Stade de Colombes (near Paris) which took place on January 1st 1925.
Final socre : 9 - 3 to Ireland.
The Stade de Colombes, home of the Equipe de France until the early 70s, was erected one year
earlier in 1924 for the Olympic Games in Paris thanks to the efforts of the Racing Club de France and of Frantz Reichel (one of the most prominent figure of Rugby history in France... cf his portraits in 1893 and 1903)
